They were gracious enough to stop by my house today and pick up some CharmingVices necklaces and earrings to sell:

seamonster sighting

I dropped by artomatic the last weekend it was open, and it seems like I hardly saw anything before it was time to go! I did run into Sean + Rania and finally met the most famous Beth!

But then... then... I wandered to the top floor and around a couple corners, and saw someone familiar.

Can't see it?

seems that mrs. and mr. seamonster + kids were part of an exhibit of fotos of people going to work! great pink hair!

Mutiny at the Ballston Market

Just a note, the Mutiny will be selling our stuff at the Ballston Arts Market by the Ballston Metro at Welburn Square this Saturday from 10-4. Nearly all of the Crafy Mutiny! will be there. We are booth 13 near Stuart Street.

The market runs from 10am-4pm on Saturday and the free concert starts between 12-1 and runs 2 hours.

If you're coming from DC, take the orange line to Ballston and cross N. Stuart Street. You can also take the 38B which starts at Farragut Sq. and travels through Georgetown and over the Key Bridge, ending at Ballston Metro.

Crafter in need part 2

I just got an email from the super rad people of Wonderland Retreat - started in early April 2007 to help alleviate the medical bills of a fellow crafter extraordinaire Alison Gordon.

Good news - she is doing much better thanks to the crafty community who contributed and supported the etsy shop raising funds on her behalf.

Now the shop is dedicated to raising funds for another crafter in need - Elijah Wyman, who has a rare kidney disease. All of the proceeds from this shop will benefit Elijah and his recovery expenses.

Please visit the etsy shop here and buy lots of stuff! You will find lots of cool DIY items and give something back to your community. Like these absolutely beautiful fridge magnets.

More info about the cause here.

I just bought this. Yay!
