Punk Planet RIP

Punk Planet (the zine) is now gone. 80 issues total - I just got my last issue and it breaks my heart. To me, it is the end of era. I first bought PP at Vinyl Ink (a now long-gone record store) and I was so happy. It seemed to me to be an even better version of MR&R. I was in high school and I own issues from the single digits - although I can only find issue #13 right now. Spring 1996. It is yellowed with age. But I love it and will never let it go. And now it is gone. They say the fight is up to us now. I agree. DIY or die. It is that simple.
