Q&A with Folktale Fibers!

Folktale Fibers will be bringing animal friendly handspun yarn and fibers to the Holiday Booty Market on December 6! Perfect for you knitters to knit some awesome gifts for your loved ones, or grab some lovely yarn for the knitters on your list!
In 25 words or less describe who you are and what you make.
I'm a spinster who loves taking raw, natural fibers and spinning them into magical & whimsical skeins of yarn, inspired by nature & fairytales.
What's your favorite thing you make?
My favorites change all the time (pretty much every time I make something new, it becomes my current favorite), but right now my favorite yarns to spin are my "leafy" yarns, which have handmade & hand embroidered felt leaves spun in.
Tell us about a crafting disaster/accident.
I thought about my answer to this one for a while, but I honestly can't think of any "disasters" or accidents that didn't turn out just fine it the end. Fiber arts tend to be pretty forgiving, so any accidents usually turn into happy mistakes or fun discoveries. All my accident stories would go something like, "this one time I mixed up the wrong dye colors by mistake and didn't find out until I poured it on the fiber, but it actually looked better than the colors I was originally going to use anyway." Although, having said that, I'm now crossing my fingers that I don't somehow set some wool on fire tonight or something.
What's your favorite thing about the holidays?
The overall coziness and warmth, the sharing, and the food. And the craft shows!
Who at the Booty Market are you excited to see/shop?
Well, I'm not sure who all is going to be there yet, but I'm hoping 8th Street Soap Kitchen will be, because I love handmade soap and I just spent twenty minutes reading the awesome soap descriptions on their website.
